It's worth as famous for the longest Pasar Malam in Malaysia. I found it much worth it than Jonker Street 😆 Go as early as possible and enjoy the food.
Saturday Night Market place. Close at 10pm. Local food and street chinese and malay food could get. Some fresh fish, chicken and vegetables could get there too. A bit far from KL. Needs 50 min drive. Parking is congested. Need to find good spot for parking lot. It will needs 50-60 min based on your food interest walking rate. Variety of choice for food. Nicer than other Persar Malam (Night Market).
This is a 1 km long pasar malam that has many food stalls that will tempt foodies. I love the asam laksa from the food truck shown in the picture. In the current covid situation, you will need to scan mysejahtera first.Parking wise, park along the shophouses nearby the pasar malam.

Know before you go
- Arrive early around 5pm to avoid crowds but note that some stalls may still be setting up; after 7pm experience a lively atmosphere despite increased congestion
- Park along shophouses near the pasar malam for easier access; consider visiting after 7:30pm when more parking spots become available
- Observe distinctions between halal and non-halal food sections on the left side (Malay) versus right side (Chinese) while exploring different offerings
- Bring cash for purchasing items ranging from street food to fresh produce or bargain clothing; consider reducing waste by bringing reusable containers or bags
Reviews
Pasar Malam Setia Alam is a bustling night market known for its extensive food stalls offering a variety of cuisines, including Thai, Chinese, and local dishes. Visitors praised the segregation of stalls into Muslim-friendly and Chinese-friendly sections for halal options. The market spans over 1 km with ample parking nearby shophouses. Reviewers highlighted favorites like asam laksa, Black Tofu, Smelly Tofu, Thai snacks, fried chicken snacks, herbal tea, Suan La Fen, Mee Hoon Kueh, fried carrot cake, and more. While some found prices not as cheap as expected for night market fare and suggested better waste management practices like providing more garbage bins.

There are variety of foods, from Thai, China, til local cuisines. You will found out the night market will segregate into two sections which is muslim-friendly stalls and chinese-friendly stalls, good initiative to ease muslims carved for halal foods. Personally I tried the Black Tofu, Smelly Tofu, Thai snacks or sausage, fried chicken snacks and herbal tea, and all tasted good. Will come again to try more stalls!
probably the best pasar malam. end to end is about 1km, so its over 2km if you go round trip. plenty of street food. always new thing to discover. come 5pm if you want to avoid crowd but some stalls are still setting up. pass 7pm its crowded but you get the lively atmosphere.
